This is definitely Mungo Jerry’s most popular song. Mungo Jerry is in fact an English Rock group that became popular in the 1970’s. Although you probably cant think of any other songs by Mungo Jerry, this song is known as one of the top selling singles EVER, reaching number 1 on multiple charts around the world.
I like this song because it really captures the feeling of summer and makes me think of lying on the beach with half naked people walking around in the hot sun. And I think what really give this song that feeling are the lyrics and the piano part.
