If you have read my previous posts, you would know that I have been playing my piano on the streets of New York City. I started my day at 12:00 PM at City Hall Park. At 2:00 PM two police officers came up to me and told me to leave because of complaints coming from City Hall about my piano in the park. I was shocked to hear that someone had the nerve to complain about my piano playing! Its not like I was yelling or creating a riot, I was playing piano music. Even the cop was sorry about it, because he saw no need for the complaint. I pushed my piano to the nearby Whole Foods to play over there.

At Whole Foods there was a barbeque where they were trying to raise money for NYC schools. I parked there so I could help them. After 2 hours, I needed to leave, so, I was walking back home from Whole Foods on Chambers St., downtown with my piano. As I was walking I happened to hit a pot-hole and my piano began to tip over. I tried to catch it but the weight was so strong that it took my hand with it and crushed my left hand. My index and middle finger have multiple fractures in them and my nail on my middle finger came off. The doctors said that they cant make any definite statements on whether my nail will stay on or if I could play the same way again. You can see how crushed my middle finger is in the picture below. They said the top small bone in my middle finger split in the middle. 

I probably wont be able to play piano for at least 2 months. Piano is my life. This entire mess really makes me terribly depressed. I’m staying strong throughout this and I hope everything heals fine.
